Because of the different altitudes, climate varies somewhat in Zimbabwe. zimbabwe2.jpg The higher altitudes in the mountainous regions of eastern Zimbabwe and the plateau in central Zimbabwe have cooler conditions. The south western portion of the country has warm temperatures. Rainfall is also varied. The eastern portion of the country recieves more rainfail than the western. Because of the dry weather and warm temperatures, the south-west region often has seasonal drought problems. Despite the variations in weather, the over all climate is tropical.
