Another event currently going on in Zimbabwe is the that the a respected political leader from South Africa has stated that in order for democracy to succeed, the severe sanctions must be lowered. Although the country is under the rule of Robert Mugabe many people want democracy. However, due to the dictatorship the west has put limiting sanctions that the country's current economy simply cannot sustain.

There are many things in the country that are effected by the high inflation. One of those such things were the schools. One such school has just recently gone back to classes. However, if the inflation does not cease soon then the school may once again close.
