Zimbabwe's Economic Situation

About 80% of people in Zimbabwe do not have a job. Those who do have jobs are paid with Zimbabwean dollars which are practically worthless. The exchange rate changes daily so store managers nearly always lose money. The Zimbabwean community is forced to pay with foreign currency which is very difficult for the common person to obtain. Robert Mugabe, the dictator of Zimbabwe spends money selfishly and unwisely with no help for his people. Pointless plans use government money (for example the "Drive out trash" plan which called for the demolition of the shantytowns, leaving thousands homeless) and drive the country further and further into debt. Once a chief exporter of tobacco and other goods, Zimbabwe now imports the materials it needs.
